When putting up a dry wall lean the piece of drywall against the opening, mark the location of the studs, and draw a line for the top of the door opening. Make cuts for both doors and windows with a router or drywall saw and screw the panels in place with drywall screws. Make cut for outlets or other wall fixtures. Then you must tape up the seams, compound, sand, and clean.

It’s time to paint! Besides choosing a color, you must also choose the type of paint. For example, there are paints for areas that have a lot of moisture like bathrooms. Do you need paint that is mold resistant? Do you want a flat, matte, satin, semi-gloss, and high-gloss paint? Acrylic or Latex?

The final touch is molding. Do you want baseboard molding, crown molding, decorative molding, case molding, or chair rail molding? Molding can change the entire look and feel of a room. It adds beauty and character.
